The JFK desk was inspired by the sweeping arcs of Eero Saarinen’s Terminal 5 at JFK International Airport, juxtaposed with the controlled lines and wide aggressive stance of high performance luxury vehicles. The desktop surface is a feat in itself, hand laminated cedar is milled to shape and meticulously hand lacquered for seven hours to create a deep lustre. The formed aluminium legs are high gloss lacquered using traditional coach work techniques.
