Borne from declining etiquette of formal upright sitting in contemporary society. The faceted nature of the M allows a person to sit, recline or lie in a multitude of positions and orientations and it allows multiple users to sit directly opposite each other. An internally hidden steel structure allows the 6” thick seat to span the 84” between the legs, giving the appearance that the chaise is hovering over its aluminium legs.
